The Real Cost of LinkedIn Automation Tools in 2026

A cost breakdown illustration showing a LinkedIn automation tool's advertised monthly price next to its realistic total once add-ons are included

The advertised price on a LinkedIn automation tool's homepage and the number that actually hits your card rarely match. Here is what Dripify, HeyReach, Expandi, Octopus CRM, and Salesflow charge, verified directly from each vendor's own pricing page.

LinkedIn automation software is usually sold on one number — $79 a month, $99 a month — that rarely survives a real campaign. Add personalization tools, email-finder credits, and enough seats for a small team, and the realistic monthly cost can run to double the advertised price or more. Here's what five vendors actually charge.

What's actually being compared here

This is a comparison of self-serve LinkedIn automation software — tools you configure and run yourself — not managed services, and not LinkedIn's own Premium or Sales Navigator subscriptions, which some users add on top. Every price below was checked directly against the vendor's own pricing page on 2026-10-04; where a figure came from an independent source instead, it's labeled as such. BlueTier sells a managed alternative and has not tested these tools hands-on.

Published per-seat pricing, from each vendor's own site

Entry-tier pricing, verified on each vendor's own pricing page
VendorMonthly, no commitmentMonthly, billed annuallyWhat the entry tier includes
Dripify$59/mo (Basic)$39/mo (Basic)1 campaign, capped daily sends, 100 email-finder credits
HeyReach$79/mo per sender (Growth)$63/mo per sender (billed yearly)Unlimited campaigns, unified inbox, 100 enrichment credits per sender
Expandi$99/mo (Business)$79/mo (Business, annual)Unlimited campaigns; image/GIF and video personalization cost extra
Octopus CRM$9.99/mo (Starter)$6.99/mo (Starter, annual)Basic automation and a built-in CRM
Salesflow$99/mo per seat (Basic)$69.30/mo per seat (Basic, 12-month term)LinkedIn and email outreach; lower per-seat prices for 5+, 20+, 50+, and 100+ seats

These entry tiers are not equivalent in capability, which matters more than the price gap suggests: Dripify's cheapest plan caps you at one campaign, Octopus CRM's cheapest plan is also its most limited, and HeyReach's and Salesflow's entry prices sit close to Expandi's.

Where the extra cost actually comes from

Expandi's own pricing page says image and GIF personalization "requires an additional cost to your existing subscription" and that video personalization is a paid add-on through Sendspark, without publishing either price. An independent breakdown by Emelia — itself an outreach-tool vendor — attributes the image and GIF feature to Hyperise; Hyperise's own pricing page lists image personalization at $69 per seat a month, and Sendspark's lists its Solo plan at $49 a month. Adding both to Expandi's $99 monthly Business plan comes to about $217 a month, before any LinkedIn Sales Navigator subscription.

Dripify's own pricing page lists email-finder credits as a separate purchase beyond each plan's included 100 credits a month: $29 for 1,000 credits, rising to $99 for 10,000. Octopus CRM's own homepage lists four monthly tiers from $9.99 to $39.99, with an annual option it labels −35% (Starter falls from $9.99 to $6.99) — the widest low-end spread of any tool here, which makes "which tier does a real campaign need" the more useful question than the sticker price alone.

Salesflow publishes per-seat prices that fall as a team grows: $99 a seat for one or more seats (Basic), $70 for 5+ (Starter), $39.95 for 20+ (Pro), $29.98 for 50+ (Agency), and $24.99 for 100+ (Enterprise), with some tiers requiring an annual commitment, plus 15% off a six-month term and 30% off a twelve-month term. The catch is the opposite of a hidden fee: the low per-seat numbers only apply once a team is large enough to reach them.

One seat, all-in: advertised price vs. a realistic price

An original comparison, not copied from any single vendor's page
VendorAdvertised entry priceWhat it doesn't includeA more realistic monthly figure
Dripify$39/mo (annual Basic)Only 1 campaign and capped daily sends; extra email-finder credits run $29–$99$39–$138/mo depending on credit add-ons
HeyReach$63/mo per sender (annual)Agency-scale whitelabel and onboarding only arrive on the $999/mo Agency tier$63/mo per seat stays accurate at small, single-account scale
Expandi$79/mo (annual Business)Image/GIF and video personalization are separate subscriptions, not includedAbout $217/mo on monthly billing with both personalization tools at their vendors' entry prices
Octopus CRM$6.99/mo (annual Starter)Starter is the most limited tier of the fourRealistically $9.99–$39.99/mo depending on which tier a real campaign needs
Salesflow$69.30/mo per seat (Basic, 12-month term)Lower per-seat rates need 5+, 20+, 50+, or 100+ seats$69.30–$99/mo for one seat, depending on the term

A 5-seat scenario, priced from each vendor's own numbers

Multiplying the published per-seat price by five makes the gap between vendors concrete, even before any agency discount applies:

Five seats, computed from each vendor's own published numbers — not a vendor's own multi-seat marketing
Vendor5 seats at the published entry tier5 seats at the published top self-serve tier
Dripify$295/mo (5 × $59 monthly Basic)$495/mo (5 × $99 monthly Advanced)
HeyReach$395/mo (5 × $79 Growth) — below the ~13-sender point where the $999 Agency plan becomes cheapern/a — the Agency plan replaces per-seat pricing at volume
Expandi$495/mo (5 × $99 Business, no commitment)Custom — Expandi's own Agency tier starts at 10 seats
Octopus CRM$49.95/mo (5 × $9.99 Starter)$199.95/mo (5 × $39.99 Unlimited)
Salesflow$350/mo (5 × the published Starter rate of $70 for 5+ seats)n/a — lower rates start at 20 seats ($39.95 a seat)

Octopus CRM stays the cheapest option at five seats by a wide margin, but that comparison only holds if its Starter tier's feature set is enough to run a real campaign — a product question the price alone can't answer.

Why the billing term changes the comparison more than the vendor does

Every vendor here discounts annual billing, and the discount size varies enough to reorder a ranking built on monthly prices alone. Octopus CRM labels its annual plans −35% (Starter: $9.99 to $6.99); Dripify's annual Basic price is about a third lower ($59 to $39); Salesflow takes 30% off a twelve-month term; Expandi's annual Business plan is 20% off; and HeyReach's yearly rate is 20% below its monthly one. Comparing one vendor's monthly price to another vendor's annual price — which is exactly how a quick search result often presents them side by side — makes a cheaper monthly tool look more expensive than a pricier one, purely because of which billing term got quoted.

Agency and multi-seat pricing: what scales and what doesn't

Running more than one seat changes the math differently at each vendor. HeyReach and Expandi both publish a dedicated agency tier with white-label options; Salesflow publishes lower per-seat prices for larger teams, up to an Agency tier for 50+ seats; Octopus CRM offers special pricing on request for agencies managing 20 or more accounts; and Dripify points larger teams to a custom Enterprise plan. For the fuller picture of what agencies actually get at each vendor and how to structure multi-client access without losing control, see the agency playbook for multi-client LinkedIn outreach.

What does LinkedIn automation really cost per month?

For one person running one account, the range across the five vendors here is roughly $7 to $99 a month before add-ons, depending on tier and billing term — and Expandi's two personalization add-ons can push a single seat past $200. For teams, every vendor here publishes a per-seat price; at agency scale, HeyReach and Salesflow publish numbers, while Expandi, Octopus CRM, and Dripify quote larger arrangements on request.

Whether $39 or $217 a month is worth paying depends entirely on what a qualified conversation is worth to your business, not on the sticker price alone.

The cost that doesn't show up on any pricing page

None of these prices include the cost of a restricted account. LinkedIn's own help center says it doesn't allow third-party software or browser extensions that scrape, modify the appearance of, or automate activity on its website, and warns that repeated suspensions for automated activity may result in permanent restriction. A subscription price says nothing about whether a given tool, or a given way of using it, falls on the right side of that line — that's a separate question from the monthly bill, and worth answering before the bill matters.

BlueTier prices differently because it sells a different thing: a platform plus a managed service, in which BlueTier's team supports strategy, audience definition, campaign setup, and monitoring, at $89, $179, or $299 a month — one connected account on Professional and Plus, up to three on Premium, with the first month free and a payment method required at sign-up. It is not exempt from the platform risk above, since its campaigns also act through your connected account. Comparing that figure to a per-seat automation tool's price is comparing a service to software — worth knowing which one you're actually buying before the number means anything.

The bottom line

The advertised price is a starting point, not a budget. Read each vendor's own pricing page for what the entry tier excludes, price out the add-ons you'll actually use, and ask directly about any plan that isn't publicly priced before assuming it's affordable. The five vendors compared here range from $6.99 a month to $2,999 a month (HeyReach's Unlimited tier) on their own published pages — which means the honest answer to "what does this cost" is always "it depends which tier, which add-ons, and how many seats," never one number.

Frequently asked questions

What does LinkedIn automation really cost per month?

For a single seat, the published entry-tier range across these five vendors runs roughly $7 to $99 a month depending on tier and billing term, before any add-ons. Personalization add-ons can push a single seat past $200, and agency-scale pricing is published by some vendors and quoted on request by others.

Are there hidden fees with LinkedIn automation tools?

Not hidden exactly, since most vendors disclose them on their own pricing page if you read past the headline number, but they are easy to miss. Expandi's image, GIF, and video personalization and Dripify's extra email-finder credits are both billed separately from the base seat price, and Salesflow's lowest per-seat rates only apply to larger teams.

Is the cheapest plan actually the cheapest option?

Not necessarily. The lowest-priced entry tiers, such as Octopus CRM's $6.99-a-month Starter plan, are also among the most limited, so a team often ends up paying for a higher tier to get the features a real campaign needs. Compare what each tier includes, not just its price.
